Our story
We built the thing people would actually use.
Not the best piece of exercise equipment. The one that still gets used in March.
Every piece of home fitness equipment is sold on what it can do. Almost none of them are sold on whether you will still be using it in March, which is the only question that actually decides whether it was worth the money.
We started from that end. Not the best machine: the one that gets used. It had to be small enough to live in a kitchen rather than a spare room. Light enough to move with one hand. Quiet enough for a flat. And it had to work in ten minutes, standing still, because that is the only slot most people genuinely have on a Tuesday night in November.
What we found is that a vibration plate in the 20 to 30Hz range is one of the few things that fits all four of those, and has real published research behind it rather than marketing. Whole-body vibration at that frequency has been studied for bone mineral density in postmenopausal women across thirteen randomised controlled trials, and for peripheral blood flow in older adults. That is not a cure for anything, and we are careful not to say it is. It is a way of loading your legs without asking your knees for permission.
So that is what Joyvinn sells. One machine, one price, and a guarantee written around the real risk, which is not that it breaks. It is that it ends up in a cupboard.
